Employers are required to comply with certain conditions when they employ a temporary foreign worker through the Temporary Foreign Worker Program or the International Mobility Program. If an employer is found to be non-compliant without justification, they may be fined and / or banned from hiring temporary foreign workers for a specific period of time (among other things).
